This National Day holiday, the second Guizhou Village Super League "Belt and Road" International Friendship Tournament kicked off at the Village Super League Football Stadium in Rongjiang County, Guizhou Province. The Liuyang Dayao Fireworks Town Football Team participated—making them the sole team from Hunan invited to compete this time.
On the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Liuyang Dayao Fireworks Town Football Team took on Brazil Galaxy United in a thrilling match. "This team has been dominating and thoroughly outclassing their Village Super League opponents in recent games," said Zhang Kaiwen, captain of the Liuyang Dayao Fireworks Town Football Team. He added that Brazil Galaxy United is no ordinary side—it’s an amateur squad composed of youth-trained players from multiple Brazilian states, with an average age of around 20. Even Brazil’s top domestic clubs take this formidable opponent very seriously.
Facing a formidable opponent, the players of Liuyang City Dayao Fireworks Town Football Team didn’t hesitate—they boldly stepped onto the field and gave it their all. After 93 grueling minutes of intense competition, they ultimately fell short, losing 2-6. Though they emerged on the losing side, the team still managed to break through the opponent’s defense, scoring two impressive goals. While the final score may have been disappointing, the players refused to surrender their pride, showcasing a fearless, relentless spirit on the pitch and radiating their purest passion for football.
Notably, upon learning that the Dayao Fireworks Town Football Team was set to compete in Guizhou, fireworks companies such as Yinjiang, Wanhui, Xingshijie, and Zhongnan, along with the Liuxiaoli specialty product store, eagerly stepped forward to offer sponsorship, becoming the team's strongest supporters. Moreover, the Dayao fireworks team delivered a dazzling display of fireworks at the Guizhou Village Super event, adding a touch of romantic flair to Guizhou's Mid-Autumn Night celebration.
